Audubon Park beer “parlour” Redlight Redlight and Petrakis-owned provisions company Swine & Sons are joining forces for a pop-up on Thursday, May 11.
From 6 to 9 p.m., swill suds from the bar and sample whole-hog BBQ from Rhys and Lexi Gawlak.
On the menu:
— Burnt-Ends Tot Waffle ($12) with pickles (I don’t know what a Tot Waffle is but it sounds like I need one RN)
— Quarter Smoked Chicken plate ($9) smothered in Alabama white BBQ sauce, baked beans, slaw, cornbread and watermelon
— Chopped Whole Hog Sandwich ($8) with watermelon, pickles and slaw
Word is the pop-up will be recurring, so if you’re going to miss this one, chances are you’ll have another shot soon.
