Thornton showed out over the weekend for a birthday bash for local barfly and unofficial Mayor of Thornton Park, LuLu the Cat. Revelers and local dignitaries like Anna V. Eskamani showed up promptly to celebrate the occasion. LuLu, on the other hand, ambled in fashionably late for a brief appearance to soak up some pets.
The Saturday night event featured an art show, exclusive LuLu merch and a screening of a documentary about the enigmatic but cute feline.
