In his latest attacks on Walt Disney Co. (and, effectively, Florida’s LGBTQ+ communities), Gov. Ron DeSantis attempted to assert his dominance in a Monday press conference — by threatening to build a state prison on undeveloped Disney land.
Yep. And as we all could have guessed, Twitter gave him some very special treatment for making such a claim. Here’s what the tweeters had to say about Mr. DeSantis’ most magical prison on Earth.
DeSantis also announced plans to further strip Reedy Creek Improvement District of its control, and to revoke a development agreement and increase state oversight of theme park rides. Disney retaliated with facts and figures, reported further by Orlando Weekly.
