Edgar opened fire into an outdoor crowd of anywhere from 50,000 to 100,000 people celebrating Halloween, Orlando Police Department has said. He shot a total of nine people, including two, Tyrek Hill and Tim Schmidt Jr., fatally. Another person was injured after being trampled by the crowd.
