Hal Boedeker at the Sentinel is reporting today that WMFE has announced that its controversial plan to sell WMFE TV to Community Educators of Orlando Inc., an arm of Dallas-based Christian broadcasting company Daystar Communications, is off the table.
In January, we reported that WMFE was still hoping for a “quick resolution” on the sale, which the FCC has been dragging its feet on for more than nine months.
