This Sanford home with its own tennis court built for a Special Olympics Hall of Fame inductee is now for sale

Complete with luxury amenities in a high-end community, the Orlando-area home of a Special Olympics Hall of Famer is now on the market.

The residence, located at 7725 Flemingwood Court in Sanford’s Lake Markham Preserve, comes with its own tennis court that was custom-built for Brittany Tagliareni, a Special Olympics tennis player and international gold medalist.

Tagliareni, who was born with autism and was nonverbal, in her career has taken home a 2017 ESPY Honorary Award, a silver medal at the Special Olympics World Games in Greece, gold medals at Special Olympics Florida State Games, gold medals at the 2018 USA Games, and has represented the United States in international championships.

The Sanford native was inducted into the Special Olympics Florida Hall of Fame in 2019. 

Aside from its tennis obsessive-approved backyard, the house has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and nearly 5,000 square feet of living space, all wrapped up on a full acre within the gated community. There’s also a swimming pool, and Lake Markham is just a walk away.
