
Just days after a video showing a man setting fire to a section of the Pulse memorial was shared widely, the Orlando Fire Department says that an arrest had been made in the case.
According to a release from the department, 64-year-old Mark Anthony Henson was arrested in connection with the set fire and charged with felony criminal mischief. No one was hurt in the conflagration of sections of the memorial in October, but the OnePulse Foundation reported that two memorial banners and several tributes had been burned.
In recent months, President Joe Biden signed a bill into law designating the Pulse nightclub as a national memorial.
