The lyrics were flowing, the beats were bumping and all vibes were on a positive tip Saturday night at Will’s Pub. The Alphabet Aces hip-hop showcase was a night of rap heavyweights spanning geography and generation. The night featured Eighth Letter with Ken the Rapper; Orlando royalty Swamburger and Scarlet Monk performing as Mugs and Pockets; a solo set from E-Turn; and rounding out the evening, a brief set from 1990s NYC hip-hop legend K-Solo.
