We live in a fucked-up world. Yet I see promise, and an angst-filled younger generation channeling modern frustration they’ve been harboring since the world told them to shut the fuck up and fall in line. They got clubbed in the head with an agenda they don’t subscribe to, yet they still show up.

Live music, regardless of the genre, will always be a safe haven to interact with a like-minded community. A time to purge amongst strangers who will pick you up when you fall. Push, stand, dance, swing fists or fly … you’re noticed and loved, like you choose to love others. But yes, you’re judged by many because you just happen to like music that makes you want to punch something whilst skipping down the block afterwards, whilst smiling. We see you. Hug it out while it all decays and continue to engage with music that challenges conventional thought and ideology.

Anyway, Friday night at Orlando Amphitheater Superheaven, Boundaries and the fearsome Denzel Curry did their thing before a rain delay drained the show temporarily. Knocked Loose wend on at around 11 p.m. after an all-clear but we were headed home by then. Sorry.
