New Orleans’ own Sweet Crude plays Will’s Pub tonight

The Buoyant indie-rock battalion Sweet Crude, the  attempts to fuse the traditional sounds of their New Orleans home with brainy pop excellence. They play tonight at Will’s Pub with Run Raquel and Vinnie Cheekie.

Hybridizing traditional music with newer songforms is a delicate balancing act, but the dancefloor payoffs can be huge. Show starts at 9 p.m. tonight. Door prices are $8-$10.
