Jim Leatherman first photographed Tori Amos when she played the Beacham in 1992, and you’d better believe he was going to document her 2026 comeback show at the Dr. Phillips Center’s Walt Disney Theater. Amos’ triad of Florida concerts were special tour kick-off shows, with Amos joined only by bassist Jon Evans and backing vocalists the Angel Witches.
Though these shows were focused on newest album In Times of Dragons, there were plenty of audience favorites played, including “Crucify,” “Girl” and “China.”
Jim shot both the action onstage and all the Gen X and Millennial faithful congregating in the lobby. Opening the night was Baltimore-based Bartees Strange.
