Rosanne Cash’s name screams country, her new record dips into pop and sprinkles in hints of jazz as part of a package that’s deeply contemplative and more than able to stand up to the excellence of the 63-year-old songwriter’s three-time Grammy Award-winning 2014 album, The River & the Thread. Cash is set to play a lot of the new LP this Friday in Central Florida where she’ll also share tunes from the Norma Rae musical she’s working on with John Leventhal.
