Indie musician Caroline Rose is bucking the music industry trends — thank god — by making intimacy and keeping creative endeavors human-scale her guiding principles. Rose recorded last album Year of the Slug by herself on her phone’s Garageband app, and this tour sees Rose snubbing Ticketmaster and corporate venues in favor of playing up-close-and-personal shows at indie venues.
