The Halal Guys in Waterford Lakes is now in soft opening mode

The Halal Guys are bringing Middle-Eastern flavor from their famous food carts in New York to Orlando with the opening of their new restaurant in Waterford Lakes.

Although the grand opening doesn’t take place until Friday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m., the new location (688 North Alafaya Trail, Suite 103) is now in soft opening.

Besides falafel, Halal Guys offers chicken and rice plates with plenty of white sauce, gyros and more.

The first 1,000 attendees to Friday’s grand opening will have a chance to win T-shirts, Universal Studios tickets, and free food items.
