You’d think there couldn’t be much variation in the world of doughnuts, but you’d be wrong.
The fried, glazed, iced and/or jelly-filled rings have come a long way since the days when you had to dunk them in black coffee to make them palatable. Now, your average doughnut fan is faced with a choice of the classics done well versus oddball innovators and Instagram savants. It’s all a bit overwhelming, even before you get to the doughnut shop and its wall of flavors.
With that in mind, we turned to the only place to get a straight answer since Google broke its own search: Reddit. Orlando Redditors recently waxed hungry about their favorite doughnut shops when a tourist asked for recommendations.
Here are their favorites, ranked.
