Tamale & Co. Take Out, the first brick-and-mortar outpost from the popular Tamale Co. food truck, celebrates its grand opening Saturday, Dec. 16, in Altamonte Springs.

The 1,000-square-foot quick-service restaurant will serve the same freshly prepared Mexican street fare it does from its food truck. Tamales are a traditional holiday food, so the timing couldn’t be better. Tamale & Co. serves a wide range of fillings, and even make vegan tamales, which are pretty hard to find.
