Sonny’s BBQ will donate profit percentage to Harvey relief operations on Sept. 6

In the wake of Harvey, Houston’s local chefs, including James Beard Award-winner Chris Shepherd of Underbelly, and chefs from around the country, including chef Jose Andres, have mobilized to feed law enforcement, first responders, families, volunteers and aid workers all over the city.

Food heals and helps.

If you’re looking for a way to help Houston, Sonny’s BBQ franchises are providing an outlet for your charitable giving to provide assistance (in the form of a hot meal) victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Sonny’s has teamed up with Operation BBQ Relief, an organization that mobilizes pitmasters and their BBQ teams outfitted with trailers and smokers to areas where disaster strikes and people are hungry.

On Wednesday, Sept. 6, Sonny’s will donate 10 percent of all proceeds to Operation BBQ Relief to help support operations in Houston.
