Dogs and beer go together like, well
dogs and beer. So four local pubs in downtown Sanford – West End Trading Co., Little Fish Huge Pond, the Sanford Wine Co. and the Palette – are bringing them together at last for this event, which benefits Pet Rescue by Judy and the SPCA of Central Florida. For just $20 ($35 if you want to go VIP), you get to eat your fill of fare provided by local restaurants and drink as much craft beer as you can hold – or fit in the handy beer-holding cask hung around your St. Bernard’s neck. Once you and your dog are good and drunk, you can go ahead and embarrass yourselves by entering the howling contest, best trick competition or costume competition. Hopefully you won’t hate yourselves in the morning. – Erin Sullivan
