Oscar Meyer launches new dating app just for bacon enthusiasts

In a move sure to delight both lovers and lovers of cured and smoked pork, Oscar Meyer has launched a free (!) dating app (OK, more like a marketing stunt disguised as a dating app) especially for bacon fanatics. It’s called Sizzl, and it’s available on both Google Play and Apple Store.

The app pairs rasher ravers with others who like their bacon the same way (extra-crispy, thick-cut, etc.) and by how much they actually like bacon. It syncs with your Facebook profile and fills in your deets for you (though you can change them in-app, if you like). Then, just answer a few questions about your porcine preferences, and the app will match you with singles in your area who share your specs.

At the very least, you’ll go on a couple of dates with fellow bacon lovers – might we suggest The Woods on Wednesdays for Bacon Night, where you get a free piece of bacon with every drink purchased?

And at most, you’ll have the best how-we-met story of all your friends.
