Nora Brooker, proprietor of the former Nora’s Wine & Cigars and the current Nora’s Sugar Shack, is an Ivanhoe Village pioneer. This week, she celebrates 15 years in the business with a special benefit for fans of her cozy drinking hole. Make a $10 donation at the door to help out homeless cats and receive $1.50 beers for the rest of the day. Sounds like a Groundhog Day worth repeating.
