Our local NPR affiliate, WMFE 90.7-FM, is hosting a panel discussion on current food trends 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30. The event is free, but you’ll need to RSVP here. (Always give your host a head count!)

Local TastyChomps blogger Ricky Ly, Food Network star chef Emily Ellyn, and Daily City Food Truck Bazaar impresario Mark Baratelli — all friends of Salivation Army — will “engage in a free-wheeling discussion on popular area restaurants, what is new or enduring on the Central Florida food scene, and other tasty food-related topics that may emerge.”

Crystal Chavez, WMFE reporter and All Things Considered host, will moderate.
