Casa Feliz, the swankest farmhouse you’ve ever seen, is the setting for next week’s exclusive (just 75 seats) Farm to Fork Wine Dinner, a fundraiser for the Homegrown Local Food Cooperative. Each dish on the five-course menu will be created using only ingredients from local farmers and ranchers, from eggs to beef to vegetables. Staples like olive oil and spices may not be local, but will be organic wherever possible; biodynamic wines from Paul Dolan Vineyards pair with each course. Dishes will depend ultimately on what’s fresh that morning, but a pasta course on the provisional menu of Yukon Gold gnocchi with black walnuts, brown butter and tomme gives an idea of the high bar being set. (A vegan menu is available also.)

Homegrown has expanded from a room to a three-building outpost of local goods in its three years in existence. Profits from this dinner and the accompanying silent auction will support and stabilize the expanded ordering schedule and newly opened retail store.
