They promise it will have an “Americana badass influence.” Still waiting for an Ali McGraw-themed bar … A second Taco Rio has opened on Semoran south of Lake Underhill Road … Earth Fare has opened a store on Gore Street south of downtown … Look for Be Inspired To Eat (BITE), a fast-casual restaurant, to open in the old Your Pie space in the Skyhouse condo downtown.

NEWS/ EVENTS: Vinia Wine Bar in Hannibal Square launches its new spring menu in April … Second Harvest Food Bank’s orange blossom “Honey for Good” and shortbread “Cookies for Good” can now be purchased in the Cask & Larder gourmet grab-and-go market at Orlando International Airport … Monkey Shoulder whisky is bringing the ultimate cocktail shaker to Orlando: The Monkey Mixer, a cement truck-like conveyance, will pour whisky cocktails from its 2,400-gallon spinning drum March 29 and 30 at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace from 5:30-10 p.m. … The Playalinda Brewing Company/Brix Project hosts a four-course April Fools’ Day Beer Dinner from 6-9 p.m. Cost is $75 … The Taste of College Park goes April 11 at 6 p.m. at the Dubsdread Ballroom … Yours truly and Kristen Manieri of Orlando Date Night Guide will host Poutine Palooza Part Trois April 14 from 3-6 p.m. at East End Market.
