Jason Schofield’s “New Americana” restaurant is located inside the Bumby Arcade on Church Street … Also on Church Street, Lion’s Pride, an Orlando City Soccer-themed bar, will occupy a space in the historic Teele Building … Bem Bom on Corrine, a new restaurant from the owners of Portuguese food truck Bem Bom, will open on Corrine Drive in the old BB&T Bank building … Frontera Fresco, the authentic Mexican eatery by Chicago-based kitchen warrior Rick Bayless, will open in Disney Springs June 20 … Newk’s Eatery will open this summer on North Alafaya Trail near the Waterford Lakes Town Center … Another Spoleto has opened on North Orlando Avenue in Winter Park … Paramount Lebanese Kitchen has opened in Lake Mary … The Lime Fresh Mexican Grill in Winter Park Village will become a Rubio’s Coastal Grill this fall. Jason Klingensmith, former executive chef at the Country Club of Orlando, promises “Southern-inspired fare with a modern spin” … Tapa Toro launches “Sabor,” a five-course wine series dinner, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 9. Cost is $49 … Open a checking account at First Green Bank and receive $20 in “Mellow Bucks” (Mellow Mushroom credit vouchers) per month for a year … The Miami Takeover at Plancha at the Four Seasons Resort (6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25) will see chefs Aaron Brooks from Edge Steak & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Miami, Dena Marino from MC Kitchen and Jose Mendin from Pubbelly Restaurant Group whip up a five-course meal alongside Capa chef Sam Fagetti and pastry chef Rabii Saber.
