The restaurant already serves a lovely selection of pastries and coffee drinks from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, but, Courtesy Bar and DoveCote Brasserie co-founder Gene Zimmerman says, this partnership with Foxtail will take their service to the next level: “We are thrilled to have Foxtail’s second location soon to reside in DoveCote. Our ideals in terms of quality and service are so closely aligned.”
Zimmerman says this will be a full-service Foxtail location that will take over DoveCote’s existing barista department with Foxtail product and employees. “There will be accompanying renovations to our Great Hall to make it more coffee-culture friendly and all kinds of cool events to promote Foxtail and DoveCote,” he adds.
Foxtail Coffee within DoveCote (on the ground floor of the Bank of America building, if you haven’t been there yet) will offer café seating in the atrium as well as on the outdoor patio, “morning, noon and night,” starting July 21.
Iain Yeakle, Foxtail co-founder, says: “We’re excited to be partnering with our friends, DoveCote, on this project, and together bringing more craft coffee options to downtown Orlando!”
Quality coffee in downtown Orlando goes through a feast-and-famine cycle, but with the addition of Foxtail to solid players like Downtown Credo, Artisan’s Table, Ace Cafe and Noir Caffe, it’s definitely feast time.
