Burgerbach’s, a concept by Hollerbach’s German Restaurant, will take over the kitchen inside Tuffy’s Music Box & Lounge in Sanford. Expect a menu of Oklahoma-style smashburgers, chicken sandwiches and frozen treats from Hollerbach’s executive chef Patrick Story to be served later this month. The kitchen was previously used by Swine & Sons … Also in Sanford, Pizza Twist, a chain specializing in pies with Indo-Pak twists, deep-dish pan pizzas and halal fare, has opened at 1746 Rinehart Road … Fable Craft Coffee and Pastries, billed as “Orlando’s first tabletop coffee shop,” has opened at 11909 E. Colonial Drive near North Alafaya Trail. In addition to providing coffee of the highest order as well as pastries and croissant paninis, the cafe will be also be a space for tabletop gaming …
June, a new venture from Team Market Group (Primrose Lanes, The Wellborn, Mathers Social Gathering, Taco Kat), will open this December in the Graffiti Junktion space at 700 E. Washington St. in Thornton Park. The restaurant will celebrate the cuisine of the Yucatán Peninsula accented with Asian influences and present “clean and simple” flavors in their sashimi, aguachiles, ceviches, tamales, rice dishes and proteins … Wave Asian Bistro & Sushi, known for its creative sushi doughnuts, sushi burritos, sushi pizza, etc., has opened inside Maitland Social at 360 E. Horatio Ave. … Look for Yumfinity Viet Bite & Thai Spice to soft-open inside the Marketplace at Avalon Park on Thursday, Aug. 15.
