Orlando can lay claim to many things, one of which is having some really good desserts. Here are a few of our go-to sweet spots in the Orlando area.

Valhalla Bakery 2603 E. South St. All of the flavorful and vegan-friendly desserts at Valhalla (especially the doughnuts) are so popular they go quickly. If your favorite doughnut flavors are sold out by the time you arrive, we recommend the Nanaimo bar, it’s just as delicious. Photo via Joe C./Yelp
Jillycakes 125 N. Orlando Ave., Winter Park, 863-797-4233 There are over 60 flavors of cupcakes, but just 12 are made each day. If you’re lucky, you’ll go on a day when they make the pancake breakfast cupcake with maple bacon and sweet syrup. Photo via jillycakesbakes/Instagram
Buttermilk Bakery 1198 Orange Ave., Winter Park, 321-422-4015 Ever since their brick-and-mortar store opened, the hunt for the Buttermilk truck has been eased. However you track them down, the galettes with fresh fruit are quite tasty and their croissants are some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Photo via ilovebuttermilk/Instagram
KrungThep Tea Time 1051 W.
