Whether you just hate cooking, or somehow ruined your homemade Thanksgiving feast, a few local restaurants are staying open for Turkey Day this year. Some of these places require an RSVP well in advance, so don’t wait till the last minute to get your turkey fix.
The Alfond Inn

The Alfond will host a buffet featuring salads, fresh fruit and cheese displays, and cream of wild mushroom soup for starters. Main course options include turkey with cranberry relish and giblet gravy, a carved ham with rum-raisin glaze, braised wagyu beef short ribs and more. The buffet will have southern pecan pie, apple cobbler, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate truffles for dessert. The meal is $69 for adults and $29 for children ages 5-12. Children ages 4 and under eat for free.

Satisfy your holiday cravings with maximum Southern flavor at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in Disney Springs. DoveCote’s family-style prix-fixe menu features turkey with items like candied collard greens, super-soft whipped potato mash, and cranberry relish, along with brasserie classics like chicken liver pate and deviled eggs. Dessert options include petit fours or a pumpkin tartlet with chantilly cream. The meal is $52 for adults, $18 for children between the ages of 4-12, and free for children under 4. If you don’t feel like reserving a table, the restaurant will also have an $82 pre-order option for guests between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. between November 21 and November 23.

Van Aken’s gourmet take on the traditional meal includes chestnut and foie gras stuffed turkey roulade and a glazed brown sugar smoked ham with pineapple chutney. A choice of house-made seasonal pies will also be available on this $65, three-course prix-fixe menu.
