Over the last couple years, Orlando has evolved into an emerging donut hub of sorts. With recent additions like Universal’s VooDoo Doughnut and Winter Park’s Little Blue Donut, the City Beautiful has plenty of solid ways to go big on a dozen circular desserts. Here are a few Orlando area shop where you can find a legit doughnut.

This little bakery off Michigan Street serves quality doughnuts and pastries crafted with flavors that showcase this spot’s baking experience. Don’t miss the Fruity Pebbles-topped glazed yeast.

The family-owned food truck recently celebrated their first anniversary since opening up shop. They have a drive-thru window, delivery is an option, and you get to choose from classic options and gourmet treats, like the Peanut Butter Banger.

Donut King’s Winter Park location is closest to us, but they’ve got a Clermont store if you’re way out there. You can’t go wrong with a classic Boston cream, but they offer a variety of outré flavors like maple-bacon, Oreo and Heath Bar.

DTG does great things with fruit, as evidenced by their key lime, apple pie and strawberry cheesecake doughnuts, but purists swear by their square-cut glazed yeast version. And yes, they do cronuts.

Duck Donuts were originally only available in North Carolina, but they popped up a spot in Central Florida last year and the rest is history. Your mouth will water just by looking at these doughnuts, and doughnut sundaes are sure to please those with an extra sweet tooth.

Since the Portland-based doughnut shop opened at Universal’s CityWalk in March, it has been met with well-deserved praise. With more than 50 varieties of doughnuts, there’s something for everyone to try. Don’t pass up the iconic Voodoo Doll.

Orlando’s first made-to-order donut truck settled down in April and opened its doors in Winter Park, but it still makes occasional trips around town. Try the peanut-butter cup, Samoa (like the Girl Scout cookie), and salted caramel doughnuts.
