Sure, Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights has haunts based on modern fare like Sinners and Stranger Things, but for those who want their frights tinged with 1990s pop-culture nostalgia, Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld has you covered.
The theme park will debut a new haunt at their Howl-O-Scream Halloween event based on ’90s slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer, the teen screamer franchise that featured the likes of Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Officially licensed from Sony and everything, “I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch,” throws attendees right into Southport ,where they will be haunted by the hook-wielding Fisherman in re-creations of some of the film series’ more memorable kills and jump-scares.
Howl-O-Scream runs at SeaWorld Orlando from Sept. 11 to Oct. 31. The event is separately ticketed from regular park admission, and tickets can be purchased through SeaWorld’s website.
