Multidisciplinary visual artist Rachel Simmons teaches printmaking, book arts and environmental art courses at Rollins College, and her extensive travels inform her art practice. A trip last May to Namibia resulted in The Namibians, an art book that captures her complex reflections on Namibian culture, landscape and infrastructure. Simmons shared images from the book as well as photographs from her trip with us. Follow this link to read more about the book in our profile of Simmons from the Jan. 7 issue of Orlando Weekly.
