Singing? Check. Gossip corner? Check. Fashion show? Check. What is this checklist for? How to make a great pajama party, of course! And no one knows how to throw a pajama party quite like P. Sparkle.
Sparkle’s red pigtails and glitter high-heeled boots give audiences a pretty good indicator of what they’re in for. Written, directed and hosted by Rob Ward, the show also features a pack of “party guests” picked from Sparkle’s improv friends — Robby Pigott, Emily Fontano, Gregory Coleman, John Connon and Kendall Leamy — accompanied by musical director Ryan Goodwin.
Sparkle interacts with the audience through a naughty game of Never Have I Ever, a fashion show of patrons’ pajamas, and taking suggestions for the topic of a Grindr conversation. Everyone onboard brings their improv energy and all-around fun. P. Sparkle really lives up to the name, and absolutely sparkles in this pajama party.
