New Orlando City signing Kaká had his first media availability today.
In the tri-lingual interview session (English, Spanish and one question in Italian), the Brazilian midfielder talked about why he decided to leave Milan and come to Orlando and the MLS, leaving money on the table from other clubs to do so, getting getting advice from David Beckham and why European and South American stars are starting to come stateside to play — including his Milan teammate Robinho, who is rumored to be on OCSC’s radar for their second Designated Player slot.
From what little I could pick out from the Spanish portion (which was not translated), Kaka mentions the match he played against the NY Red Bulls while he was at Real Madrid and something about the potential rivalry between Orlando and Miami
Orlando City majority owner Flavio Augusto da Silva and president-owner Phil Rawlins were also on the line to field questions about the new signing.
