John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars swept the young adult literary world by storm when in came out in 2012, inspiring legions of teenage girls to create art based on the YA novel. In perhaps the biggest fan art nod possible, the book was turned into a movie, released earlier this month, directed by Josh Boone and starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.

In our Arts section this week, we compare the book to the movie and discuss John Green and his Nerdfighters: the legion of Green fans who “fight against suck.” This gallery features some of our favorite The Fault in Our Stars fan art from Green’s die-hard Nerdfighters.
