In a state that changes as rapidly as Florida, it can be comforting to know that some things will always be the same as they were.

Long-running events and annual holidays provide a good opportunity to look back and see the folks who were here before weren’t so different from the people who are here now. Halloween in particular, with the changes in costuming norms and trends, is a fun time to take a look through the dusty photo albums.
