Epic Universe opens previews to general public ahead of official opening

Ahead of the official opening of Universal Orlando’s highly anticipated new park, the amusement giant is opening previews to the general public.

Epic Universe, set to open officially May 22, had previously only offered previews to Universal Orlando annual passholders, hotel guests, those with military passes and media. Now, the park is extending an invitation to anyone looking to dive in early.

This phase of the preview process, which kicked off Tuesday and will remain open though May 19, is the last chance guests have to experience the park before it’s open open.

And in case you missed it, we were there — and we loved it.

The fourth park under the Universal Orlando umbrella, Epic Universe is considered the park’s most ambitious project yet. It houses portals that transport guests to five themed worlds, including a Super Nintendo World, Ministries of Magic in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the monster-filled Dark Universe, a How to Train Your Dragon land and the futuristic realm Celestial Park.

Universal also recently unveiled park’s two accompanying outer-space-themed hotels, Stella Nova and Terra Luna.
