While Cirque du Soleil works on their anticipated Disney-themed show for the old La Nouba tent at Disney Springs, there’s been a mime-shaped hole in our hearts (or is it box-shaped?). But the Quebecois circus troupe returns this week with a brand-new (to us) show, Luzia, plopped down right in the middle of the Florida Mall parking lot. The show is described as a “waking dream of Mexico,” taking its inspirations from the music, culture and wildlife of our southern neighbor. Expect acrobatic hummingbirds, dancing armadillos, gravity-defying aerialists, cartilage-defying contortionists and plenty of whimsy as the spectacle sets up shop for most of the next two months.
