Fall is more a state of mind than a season around here, but just because there’s no frost in the air that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy everything else this season has to offer. From pumpkin patches to corn mazes, there’s plenty of options for fall activities in Central Florida!

The Pickin’ Patch
11000 Rolling Hills Road, Dunnellon, 352-533-4344
The Pickin’ Patch was named the Best Pumpkin Patch in Florida in 2018 and 2019 by Better Homes and Gardens. The patch has a corn maze, hay fort with slides, hay maze, and live bluegrass music. Admission costs $5 per person. The patch closes October 25th.

The corn maze and pumpkin patch are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The maze will be open until November 30th, while the pumpkin patch closes on Halloween. Corn Maze Orlando has a “Mission to Mars” theme, different rides, and pumpkins. There’s live music and food on the weekends. Prices range from $10 to $15 depending on age.

The Hastings Ranch and Farm Fall Festival is open the last three weekends of October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival features a pumpkin patch and corn maze. Admission is free for kids under the age of 3, $10 for adults, and $8 for the military.

The Fox & Squirrel Corn Maze is open every weekend from Oct. 10 to Nov. 1. Admission for youth is $10 and $11 for adults. Pumpkins are also be available for sale.

Long & Scott Farms has a 7-acre corn field with two different mazes. In addition to the pumpkin patch on the farm, there’s also a jumping pillow, super slide, and playground. The maze is open through December 13th on Saturdays and Sundays.

The blueberry farm’s fall events are held Thursdays through Sundays, and admission tickets must be purchased online in advance. Get autumnal with homemade pumpkin muffins, iced pumpkin spiced coffee, apple cider donuts or frozen hard apple cider.

The Sanlando United Methodist Church’s pumpkin patch is open until the end of October. The hours for this year are Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Entry is free for everyone so soak up the fall vibes!

Lake Catherine Blueberries has a new escape room! Head out to the Fall Scavenger Hunt Maze or if escaping a maze isn’t your cup of tea, try out the Dark Forest Trail of Terror. The fall festivities will run from September 25th and to October 31st.

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from October 9th to October 31th, Roger’s Farm’s fall festival and corn maze will be open. The festival will include a spooky trail, pumpkin patch, sunflower field, train rides, and much more. The price of admission is $10, but military and senior citizens get a 10% discount.

Sykes Farms has a 9-acre maze. That’s not all, they have jump pads, hayrides, cow milking, and sunflowers. The maze is open Friday through Sunday until October 25th. Cost of admission varies from $11 to $15.

The Community Presbyterian Church ‘s curbside pumpkin patch will be open from September 28th to October 29th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Pumpkins have to be ordered online. All the purchases help the Community Hope Center and fund student camp scholarships.
