Carmel Kitchen in Winter Park has closed

Carmel Kitchen Wine Bar, a Tampa-based restaurant chain with iPads for menus, has officially closed its Winter Park location.

An employee with Carmel confirmed to Orlando Weekly that an announcement was made last weekend that the company has decided to shutter their Winter Park restaurant at 160 N. Orlando Ave.

No exact reason for the closure was given. But if you’re going to miss Carmel, the company still has five other Florida restaurants in Tampa, Sarasota, Allentown, Carrollwood, and Clearwater.

The Winter Park restaurant opened in 2013 as Carmel Café.
