You liked, you saved, you rated on Foursquare and Business Insider put together a list of the country's top 15 donut shops based on the city guide's top-rated spots. And guess what? You put Central Florida on the fried-dough map, because Donut King, in Minneola and Casselberry, made the list.

If you've never been, go now. Right now. The sheer variety of textures, flavors and toppings is unparalleled locally – the red-velvet glazed donut is a personal favorite, but there are plenty who prefer the ones topped with kids' cereals and candy bars (Heath Bar, plz).

One of the greatest things about Donut King is the drive-through window, which means you can pick up a dozen on your way to work and still make it to your morning meeting on time. On the other hand, a hazy kaleidoscope of colorful pastries might be the best thing to wake up to in the morning, so maybe build in an extra 15 minutes into your morning commute so you can go inside. Either way, you'll garner plenty of brownie points — or, shall we say, donut points — around the office.
