Punk meets drag wild-style at the R!ot Dykes show at Conduit

Best of Orlando® award winners Dyke Nite are on an unquestioned hot streak this summer, recently wrapping a trans-masc night with Collective Echo and with the Mommy Knows Best dive bar pop-up on the immediate horizon. But we couldn’t let this one pass by without an approving nod.

The R!ot Dykes showcase at Conduit features drag and live music aplenty, but the true centerpiece promises to be a scissoring contest. (Don’t know what that is or feeling a little offended? Skip to the next selection and let the young people have their fun.) Aside from the pride and pageantry of competitive scissoring, you’ve got live music from Stiletto, Switch Slut and Jacksonville’s very promising Soft. Drag comes from De Sastre, Mariana’s Fat Wench, Kissa Death and more. It’ll be a riot.
