Enzian Theater is ushering all things freaky back into the Orlando area with its 13+ Films of Halloween screening marathon.
The annual programming event brings films both slightly spooky and downright terrifying, plus a seasonal menu of cocktails inspired by the films, the Kid’s Halloween Party and the Eden Bar Halloween Party.
Enzian programming manager Tim Anderson promises “a pair of tributes to the great Sam Neill; a new 4K restoration of the Japanese masterpiece Kwaidan; and an underseen Italian classic, A Bay of Blood, which influenced both Friday the 13th and this year’s Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma.”
Plus, a “live performance of F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu and more free films on the lawn than ever before, including a Wednesday Night Picture Show secret screening.”
Guests this year can also take advantage of the Halloween event punch card: Starting Oct. 1, filmgoers can receive a punch for each 13+ Films of Halloween screening they attend, with bonus punches available for trying out some themed drinks. At the end of the month, punch cards can be turned in for a chance to with either a $100 bar tab or an annual membership to Enzian.
