Jewish films from around the globe take the spotlight at the 28th annual Central Florida Jewish Film Festival. Presented in partnership with Shalom Orlando, this three-day event spotlights cinema exploring various aspects of Jewish culture, history and family.

This year’s lineup includes The Stamp Thief, a nail-biting documentary-as-mystery stretching back to the Holocaust; Once Upon My Mother, a drama set in the 1960s about the “matriarch of a Jewish immigrant family from Morocco”; The Ring, a comedic film with a hint of drama; We Met at Grossinger’s, a documentary about the Borscht Belt comedy circuit in the Catskills; and Hola Chau, an Argentinian-Israeli family comedy-drama.

Screenings take place variously at Enzian, Aloma Cinema Grill and the Orlando Science Center.

Various times Saturday-Monday, Nov. 7-9, various locations, enzian.org, $15-$118.
