LGBTQ+ darkwave duo Feyleux return to Orlando after a year spent pining over them. In contrast to their oft ethereal and eerie recordings, live the duo of Erica Gilstrap and Laurie Ruroden are a rougher proposition, purveying serrated deathrock along the lines of Super Heroines and 45 Grave.
It’s all executed to thrilling effect by the core duo, posing like witchy guitar heroes and vengeful valkyries on an otherwise darkened stage. This North Carolina band is injecting swooning new life (and perspective) into the often careworn gothic genre. Don’t miss it. Or you’ll be sad. (It’s goth, though, you’ll end up sad one way or the other.)
7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, Will’s Pub, 1042 N. Mills Ave., willspub.org, $12-$18.
