Olive Garden is based in Orlando so I guess this ‘Italian nacho’ atrocity is our fault

Olive Garden has begun serving something called Loaded Pasta Chips and just, nope.

It’s your basic war crime: fried ravioli-pasta “chips” topped with a chicken-meatball-and-sausage ragú, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, cherry peppers and an Alfredo sauce drizzle.

As mentioned, Darden Restaurants, parent company of the Olive Garden chain, is based in Orlando. In fact, we’re even the home of the longest continuously operating Olive Garden. So we feel we bear some of the responsibility – was this mutant snack actually born here in the City Beautiful?

We haven’t gotten any answers from Darden corporate, but we’ll let you know if we get to the bottom of this. This mystery, not this plate, because that would probably kill you.
