Taking over the former Graffiti Junktion space in Thornton Park, the new Truck Stop Pop-Up Kitchen will soft-open Friday evening.

The new concept, which will allow a new food truck, chef or catering company to take over the space every week, will host a soft opening at 8 p.m. Dec. 29, at 900 E. Washington St. However, Truck Stop will be part of the Thornton Park New Year’s Eve party, and will also be open for a UCF football-viewing brunch shindig on New Year’s Day.

As we previously reported, Graffiti Junktion president Greg Peters will head up the new restaurant, which will feature a permanent bar with its own set menu.

UPDATE: Truck Stop has canceled their soft opening for Friday; however, their NYE events are still going on as planned.
