The creative minds behind the How Bazar Market in Gainesville are bringing their sights, sounds and wares to Casselberry for a one-night-only satellite event, Bazar À La Carte, as part of an ongoing Florida roadshow.
The night market fuses whimsy and DIY artistry, including over 40 vendors, caricature artists, zine-making workshops, a photobooth, DJs, a picnic (complete with a 40-foot blanket) and an R&B afterparty at Sessions with Orlando House Party. The goal is to both spotlight and connect local and regional creatives, and link communities.
“Bazar À La Carte is a platform that aims to bring communities together in order to create and legitimize a local alternative economy, so people are not just buying their candles from Walmart and Amazon,” says Bazar co-owner Laila Fakhoury.
So come get utopian, and score some unique finds in the process.
6 p.m. Saturday, July 19, Casselberry Art House, thehowbazar.com, free.
