A mid-century modern masterpiece with ties to architectural pioneer Frank Lloyd Wright has hit the market again in Winter Haven, this time at a lower price point.

The home, located at 999 Oleander Drive SE in Winter Haven, was designed by architect Francis R. Hoffman, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, and built in 1962. It has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and plenty of eye-catching 1960s-inspired details.

Hoffman is the founder and principal architect of the award-winning architectural firm Francis R. Hoffman Architects and is the former chairman of the Construction Advisory Group, Inc. Having gotten his architectural career start in 1954, Hoffman has worked on many projects throughout the country, although most of his work can be found in Miami Beach and Los Angeles.

The lakefront home spans a total 8,505 square feet and sits on a 3.22-acre lot.

Some of the home’s most notable amenities include the two kitchens, a Florida-centric breakfast room, a library, wine cellar, sauna, extensive pool area (including a hot tub!) and — drumroll, please — a basement.

The estate is currently listed for $1,650,000 and is being handled by Michael Nolen Jr. with Coldwell Banker Realty.
