Polk County's most expensive house in history just sold for $4.1M

Polk County's most expensive listing ever sold has just left the market with a record-breaking $4.1 million price tag.

The house, located at 501 Adams Bard Road in Auburndale, has seven bathrooms and nine bathrooms across a total 9,215 square feet. Built in 2002, the waterfront property spans 44 acres, with 2,300 feet of water frontage along Lake Van.

Inside, the home boasts a free-standing spiral staircase in the foyer, a Jacuzzi tub in the master suite, a saltwater aquarium in the formal living room, a game room and a sauna. There's also a two-car garage and a two-car guest garage.

The home sold for $4,100,000 and the listing agent was Louise Richer with Premier Sotheby's International Realty.
