Orlando scored 12 spots on Yelp’s top 100 places to eat in Florida

Yelp has released their second annual list of the top 100 places to grab a bite in Florida. This time, though, Orlando took over.

With a dozen City Beautiful eateries scoring spots — and two in the top 10 — the list once again proves that for foodies, Orlando's the place to be. There's extreme spice from Chicken Fire, over-the-top sushi from MA-SE and a ton of Central Florida flavor.

"To determine Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in Florida in 2023, we identified businesses in the restaurants category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews between January 1, 2022 and January 1, 2023," the release from Yelp said.

So, check out some of Orlando's favorites and what the Yelpers have to say about them here.

"This place is slap yo momma good! I'm not gonna lie, I was skeptical that it would be good. But I was more than pleasantly surprised — I was blown away! I consider myself to be a hot chicken connoisseur. This spot is as good, if not better than the famous Hatty B's and Prince's Hot Chicken in Nashville." – Mike N.

Some of the best I've had in recent memory. My family and I devoured these for a midnight snack; you know, as Italians do!" – Matt C.
